Erwin Jonakaufzki is a mixed-media vagabond in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In 2025, he won the Best Screenplay Award at the Lovesick Film Festival for his script, Wishful Thinking.

He is the winner for Best Short Screenplay in 2023 and 2024, respectively, at the Los Angeles Film Awards. In 2022, he was named finalist in the WriterDuet 48-Hour Screenplay Throwdown.

As a photographer, his work has been featured in Good Grit Magazine alongside his editorial contributions. His work has been selected for the online gallery of Leica Fotographie International in 2021.

In addition to Good Grit Magazine, he has contributed to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, The Signal Mountain Mirror, The Lookout Mountain Mirror, Chatter Magazine, and a host of guest blogs across varying industries.

He serves as a member of Signal Corps Percussion Staff for Signal Mountain Middle-High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he contributed to the group’s 2025 regional championship victory at the Bands of America Chattanooga Regional.

A musical instructor for more than a decade, Erwin also serves as the percussion ensemble director for Chattanooga Valley Middle School in Flintstone, Georgia.

Currently, he is preparing projects set to release in the first half of 2026.
