To my mother, who inspires me to be playful and make great, simple things.
My name is Erwin Jonakaufzki. I try to make great, simple things. Some of them are good. Most of them could use edits.
I hope something here talks to you the same way strangers talk to each other in a bookstore line, both silently hoping on the drive home to meet again the next time they visit their favorite thinking place.
The Vagabond
is a term of self-endearment. It’s an acceptance of the mind and body as wandering bits of matter on this undulating landscape of existence.
It doesn’t strike up fear or despair. The thought comes with no inherit pain or negative twinge or connotation.
I find it the best representation of how I wish to live and create—drifting in and out of daydreams and ideas, hobo-ing through mischief and enlightenment.
On the long road towards myself.
